Position Summary
The function of the Pureplayer & Retail.com team is to support our European subsidiaries in reaching shared objectives by delivering operational excellence and best-in-class online experiences to consumers at all touchpoints on the digital journey.
As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for designing and implementing data visualisation and analytics solutions that support the decision-making process and drive business growth.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data visualisation and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense and Python. Work with partners to understand their data needs and design and implement solutions tho meet those needs. This may involve creating interactive dashboards, custom algorithms, and other tools that allow partners to explore and analyse data in new and innovative ways. Crafting & sharing relevant insights in a digestible format to tell stories with numbers
  • Identify and prioritise business requirements. This may involve conducting data analysis, creating prototypes
  • Analyse large datasets and extract meaningful insights. Use sophisticated data analysis techniques and custom algorithms as needed to extract insights from large datasets. This may involve using machine learning, predictive modelling, or other advanced techniques to uncover patterns and trends in the data.
  • The Senior Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and other technical professionals to ensure that data visualisation and analytics solutions are aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. This may involve working with software developers, data scientists, and other technical experts to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain web applications and dashboards that support data visualisation and analysis. This involves working with web frameworks such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data visualisations, analytics, and web development, and will find opportunities to adopt new technologies that can benefit the organisations.
  • Supporting the Head of Data & Analytics and European team with ad hoc requests
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with contacts across Europe & with Korean HQ
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Strong knowledge & passion for the consumer electronics industry and customer journey
  • Proven experience in data visualisation and analytics, with a strong focus on Qlik Sense and Python. This experience should include a deep understanding of these tools, as well as a proven track record of delivering data visualisation and analytics solutions that meet the needs of organisations.
  • Excellent skills in web development, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as React or Angular. This experience should include a strong understanding of web development best practices, as well as the ability to develop web applications and dashboards that support data visualisation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills, with the ability to work optimally with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly analytical with a thirst for sharing useful insights, resilient attitude & adaptability in a high pressure environment
  • Experience working with market intelligence agencies is strongly desired
  • Comfortable with ambiguity & positive approach towards changing circumstances
  • High standard of presentation skills with attention to detail
